Querying Lists using the Keyword Search Box

When users are entering text into the Keyword section of the Explore Data > Search page, pressing Enter (or Return) now automatically executes the query. To manually insert multiple lines, simply use the <Shift> plus <Enter> keystroke (instead of just pressing the Enter key, hold down the <Shift> button and also press the <Enter> key). You can insert new lines using any of the following keystrokes:
  • Shift+Enter
  • Ctrl+Enter
  • Alt+Enter
  • Option+Enter (on an iOS device)
This was implemented by popular demand to align with the behavior found in Microsoft Excel and many modern Web applications.

Structure Groups have been Retired

Structure groups provided an easy way for users to discover results for matching structures that exist in separate Vaults or CDD Public. No matter the search criteria, all structures in a structure group are returned. While this can be useful, it also produces unexpected results that don’t necessarily match the search criteria so Structure Groups have been removed. Now records will only be returned if they match the search criteria. To see matching structures across Vaults and CDD Public, simply use structure-based search criteria. This means hit lists and protocol hit thresholds will only return molecules that match that criteria. A common example of this is when 2 structures are registered with the OR enhanced stereochemical label. These are two unique molecules with the same registered structure and thus belong to the same Structure Group. Previously, they would always appear next to one another in the Search Results Table regardless of criteria. These Molecules are now completely independent and can be displayed and sorted separately in the Search Results Table.
