16 Years of Collaborative Drug Discovery

It's hard to believe that CDD Vault is turning 16 years old on April 1, 2020... What started out as a visionary, cloud-based chemical registration system in 2004 has over the years evolved into a comprehensive informatics platform that includes inventory tracking, data visualization, and an Electronic Lab Notebook.

Since the very beginning, CDD's mission has been to enable scientists around the world to collaborate effectively and at the same time to securely store their data. The original tagline was “Archive, Mine, and Collaborate” (today’s CDD Vault official taglines are “Complexity Simplified” and “Smart Software Saves Time”).  We are proud to report that CDD Vault has maintained 99.98% cumulative uptime, as seen in our Status Updates page.

An Informatics Platform that Grows with Our Customers

We have developed a product that customers find useful, as evidenced by the sustainably scalable broad adoption of CDD Vault over the last decade and a half. As you can see in the chart below, it took more than 10 years for the platform to reach 10,000 customer logins/month milestone, yet adoption has been doubling every two years since then - see:

Here's a picture of our CEO Dr. Barry Bunin presenting a graph of cumulative logins to CDD Vault over the same time period, again showing exponential growth. Since achieving 1,000,000 customer logins back in April 2019, we are now approaching the 1.5 million CDD Vault paying customer logins high watermark.

Our New Referral Program

CDD Vault would not have come this far without you, our valued customers.  If you like (love like us?) CDD Vault, we are asking you to help spread the word by participating in our new Referral Program.

Do you have colleagues who could benefit from the collaboration and security that is provided by CDD Vault? Please refer them to us and we will donate $100 to Discover new Diagnostics and Treatments for Tropical Diseases for each of your referrals made through 2020.

It's easy to refer a colleague - simply go to our Referrals page and fill out the short form there. We appreciate your help and look forward to providing you an constantly improving research informatics system in the coming years!
