Across the product management, software development, support, and marketing functions, you will have several top tier resources at your fingertips to delicately nurture leads into prospects and customers.

     

    Experience

    We are looking for a proven senior sales professional, experienced in our specific domain.

    You need experience with a successful track record for selling into drug discovery informatics. Your responsibility will be to sign on new customers from our increasing lead funnel. Hopefully, you are well connected and can even add some of your own relationships into the mix.

    The Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate combines a successful sales track record with scientific expertise and an excellent understanding of software technology, particularly software and tools being used by scientists in the drug discovery industry and academia.

    You are knowledgeable about informatics software like ELNs, registration databases, and assay methods. Ideally your background is in biology or chemistry, with >5 years of successful sales experience in our market.

    We are hiring only trustworthy, high-integrity sales professional who will accelerate our short-term business growth while increasing our brand awareness and excellent culture for maximum long term value.

    Our business is B2B and “Sales” for us involves active listening (consultative sales), to really understand our customers. We help them make the right choices (whether with our tools and/or the growing partners ecosystem around the CDD Platform). We are respected partners focused first on their business, second on ours. Besides a friendly outgoing personality, listening skills are a foundation of your success. Ideally you have experience with “active listening”, formal training in modern sales practices such as SPIN, BANT, or Challenger Sales…

    We are looking for someone who is quick and responsive and does not hesitate to do the hard work prospecting for new logos, atop our growing renewal base (>98% renew quarterly). Travel will occasionally be necessary to visit conferences and customers. Generally, this full time job can be done from a remote office, which means remote office working skills and the discipline to work independently are critical.
