Life Science Professionals & Lab Automation Community

Collaborative Drug Discovery (CDD) is proud to host the upcoming Munich Lab Automation Community (MLabAC) Meetup in collaboration with the Life Science Factory (LSF). This exciting, in-person event will take place at the Helmholtz Pioneer Campus in Munich on January 15, 2026.

This special edition of the MLabAC Meetup will bring together three vibrant networks—CDD, MLabAC, and LSF—for the first time. Our goal: to introduce and connect these innovative communities, each driving the future of lab automation, data-centric research, and scientific entrepreneurship. A few short talks to kick off the session (50 minutes) will be followed by a buffet dinner, networking and a round-table discussion (topics to be announced).

18:00 – 18:10 Welcome Address by Ellen Goel, Managing Director (Life Science Factory) introduces the Helmholtz Pioneer Campus and sets the stage.

18:10 – 18:20 Dr. Joanna Deek (Collaborative Drug Discovery) – Company mission and vision: Empowering drug discovery through collaborative data management.

18:20 – 18:40 Dr. Nicola Vettore (Collaborative Drug Discovery) – Live showcase of the CDD Vault platform: an intuitive, secure solution for managing chemical and biological data.

18:40 – 18:50 Welcome Adress: Bernd Martensen (Munich Lab Automation Community) intro to the community and kickoff of in informal networking sessions designed to spark new collaborations.

18:50 – 19:30 Buffet Dinner
