CDD Vault Update (March 2022): Only Vault Administrators Can Create Projects

Responding to the preferences of our user community, the ability to create new Projects will now be restricted to Vault Administrators only. The link to create a new Project will no longer appear in the “Create a new…” menu nor the Projects index page for all other user roles.

Noteworthy tip:.

  • Users who are not Vault Administrators can still be allowed (by the Vault Administrator) to “Manage” a Project. In this case, the non-Vault Administrator user (who is set to “Manage” the Project) can still:
    • rename the Project
    • edit the Project’s Description
    • add new users into the Project
    • remove users from the Project
