Today (25 April) is World Malaria Day. In addition to doing our little part hosting Public Malaria Drug Discovery Data (ranging from the discovery of early anti-Malarial compounds during WWII to GSK’s recent release of enzyme and cell screening data) and supporting researchers’ pre-publication data in private CDD Vaults – here are two sites with timely information on World Malaria Day to raise awareness within the community from the NIAID and CDC.
One of our current areas of focus is drug rescue and repositioning which we previously applied to overcoming chloroquine resistance. We welcome new ideas for collaborations, datasets, or spotlights for Malaria and other areas of neglected or commercial drug discovery.
This blog is authored by members of the CDD Vault community. CDD Vault is a hosted drug discovery informatics platform that securely manages both private and external biological and chemical data. It provides core functionality including chemical registration, structure activity relationship, chemical inventory, and electronic lab notebook capabilities!
