Custom Monomer Deprotection:
Users can create custom monomers from registered chemical structures containing protecting groups. Typically these structures are bought and registered as part of a library, and the deprotected version is used in sequence registration. To create the custom monomer, simply click the ‘Deprotect’ link and define the custom amino acid code and natural analog.
Update to Plasmid Rendering:
Plasmid maps generated from .dna files are now rendered using a custom built CDD Vault tool. Existing plasmids and any newly registered plasmids will utilize the new tool. Additionally, users can now upload SnapGene or GenBank files to render plasmids.
Increased Thumbnail Resolution in ELN:
All existing v2 ELN entries will use the increased thumbnail resolutions - this will not trigger an edit of the entry and will not be recorded in the audit trail. All newly added image thumbnails will have increased resolution, and the resolution will adjust as an image is resized.
