    CDD Vault Update: Registering Biologics

Sequences and Assay Data Captured in a Single Platform CDD Vault recently updated the text readout size (now 65,000 characters) for both the Synonyms and Protocol Readouts to lay the groundwork for assisting researchers using biologics instead of traditional small molecules. CDD Vault has a powerful storage and query engine to store and mine your bioinformatics data. Now sequences and metadata can be directly associated with CDD's best-in-class Biological Assay tools. Dose response data linked directly to the sequence information: sequences dose response This allows researchers to perform sophisticated Structure Activity Relationship (SAR) data mining traditionally associated with substructure searching for small molecule to sequence searching for biologicals. Researchers can also add important metadata associated with the sequence such as images, files, hyperlinks, and controlled vocabulary: pdb sequences The CDD Vault search page provides users with an easy and intuitive interface to build queries that span both assay results and sequence information. For example, one can simultaneously search for specific sequences, various activity hit thresholds, and keywords: query ic50 sequences Query results can be easily customized to add, remove or refine the information displayed. The customized report can be saved as a collection, viewed in the CDD Vault Visualization module as scatter plots or histograms, and exported in machine or human readable formats (.csv, .xls): IC50 pdb sequences As always, feel free to contact CDD Support for assistance.
