On September 17, we welcomed CDD Vault users, researchers, and colleagues to CIC Cambridge for our 2026 Boston User Group Meeting. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the talks, dinner reception, and helped make it an impactful community event!
This year’s Boston agenda included scientific presentations, updates from our product team, and a closing panel on the importance of data stewardship in the AI era.
Presentations from our community
Our guest speakers brought a range of perspectives from across biotech and pharma. We heard from Teresa Mako of Orum Therapeutics, Olga Vinogradova of VidaVinci, Erin Rohan of Flare Therapeutics, Jonathan Gilbert of Lilly TuneLab, and Jennifer Davoren of Skeletalis.
Presentations covered targeted protein degradation, registration workflows, building reliable informatics ecosystems, and federated computing for drug discovery. We’re grateful to our speakers for taking the time to share their work with the community.
CDD’s Alex Clark, Peter Gedeck, and Kellan Gregory shared updates on CDD Vault, including new feature releases that continue to drive support for small molecules, large molecules, and complex biologics. Their sessions covered the product roadmap and the role of AI in research workflows, giving attendees a look at what’s available today and what the team is working toward.
Attendees also got a sneak peek at the Lilly TuneLab integration with CDD Vault, including how it will bring select Lilly AI and machine learning models into researchers’ existing workflows. Read the announcement to learn more about the collaboration.
Good Data, Smart Tools
The afternoon wrapped up with “Good Data, Smart Tools: Data Stewardship in the AI Era,” moderated by CDD’s Mitchell Buckley.

Panelists Rody Arantes of Montai, Oliver Priebe of Serinus Biosciences, and Jeff Bates of Great Brook Solutions/Peptone discussed the importance of high-quality scientific data as AI becomes more widely used in drug discovery. The conversation put data stewardship at the center of the discussion about new tools and their use in research.
Beyond the presentations
After the sessions, we moved into happy hour and a private dinner. Connecting with the community on a personal level is one of our favorite parts of hosting these meetings. It’s a chance to follow up with a speaker, catch up with a colleague, or meet someone new over a meal.
Thank you again to our speakers, panelists, and everyone who joined us in Cambridge. We appreciate being able to bring this community together and look forward to the next one!
