Keyword Search Using Number and Date Operators

In a recent CDD Vault release, additional search parameters for querying across text Batch fields were added. With this release, we have now focused on the ability to perform advanced  queries over numeric and date Batch Fields.

To take advantage of all of these new Keyword searching operators, users should:

  • Click the "Any field" drop-down within the "Keywords" section of the main Search menu
  • Select a numeric or a date Batch field
  • Choose your desired query operator: Has, From, Not, or No Value
  • Type or paste your query string into the adjacent box (Special note for date Batch fields – dates must be typed in the YYYY-MM-DD format and there is now a calendar tool to allow you to select your date query terms)
  • Click the green "Search" button

Helpful Hint: CDD Vault users may set their individual time zone by navigating to the Settings > User > Preferences tab and clicking the “Edit account preferences” pencil icon. Setting your correct time zone may impact your searching over date Batch fields.

Delete Runs of Protocol Data via the CDD Vault API

The CDD Vault API has been enhanced to allow more access to and control of your Runs of Protocol data.

It is now possible to retrieve and delete specific Runs of Protocol data via CDD Vault API calls.

To retrieve a single run:

GET /api/v1/vaults/<vault_id>/runs/<id>

To delete a single run:

DELETE /api/v1/vaults/<vault_id>/runs/<id>

Additionally, it is now possible to delete all Runs of Protocol data that were created by a specified data import process (affectionately known as a “slurp”).

Delete runs associated with a single slurp:

DELETE /api/v1/vaults/<vault_id>/runs?slurp=<slurp_id>

Delete all Runs of Protocol data created by a specified data import process in CDD Vault
Now you can delete all Runs of Protocol data created by a specified data import process (aka a “slurp”)
